Spinning

Today I had my first spinning lesson. I got to try multiple wheels as well as learning on a drip spindle. My teacher was Penny Teem of The Naked Sheep Knits. The shop will be opening in a couple of weeks but this was my spring break, so she agreed to teach me this weekend! YEA!!!

Good Luck with the spinning! I enjoy it alot myself. Very relaxing. You asked about the pattern for Mountain Pines. It is not currently in print. I bought it many years from "Wool You Order" which is now known as "Two Old Bags". I have heard it will be re-printed this fall. If you want to check with the ladies who created the pattern as to when it will be available, here is some contact information off of another of their patterns.

Hope that helps you.

I really enjoyed spinning the yarn for Mountain Pines. I used a Schacht single treadle.
