Sock Sadness

Well, I had signed up for the Loopy Ewe sock yarn club. This would have been my first club, but alas, I just got my rejection letter. My name didn't get drawn in the lottery. Seems they had more than twice the number of people sign up than there were slots open. I do understand, but it still sucks.

LOL

Sorry, but as a total outsider to this world, I have to say that a rejection letter from the Loopy Ewe Sock Yarn Club sounds pretty funny.
Charlie Brownish, even.

Thinking about this using the part of my brain that's still untainted by yarn, it's just silly. Who would turn down business? In the normal world, you come up with a way to sell to everyone who wants to buy. Thank goodness knitting isn't normal.

Wow, rejected from the Loopy Ewe. Hmmmph, don't feel bad, I missed the Knitter's Coffee Swap 2 altogether, again. Life holds instore for us bigger and better KAL's, I'm sure of it !!! (smile).

Remember, just because you fell off the horse does not mean you can try and get back on. The fun is always in the journey.
